(so I went with a sci-fi ish type thing where dean is a member of some interstellar army/police force and misses his bf cas when he has to leave him on earth)
“It’s just so damn beautiful out here Cas, you’d love it,” Dean says over his communicator as he gazes out of the ships porthole.
For the longest time space had been his one love, the one thing he held dear in his life; but things had changed now- he has Cas, he loves Cas, and Cas (miraculously) loves him back.
“I promise, one day I’m bringing you out here with me,” Dean vows, and as Cas hmms gently in consent, Dean allows himself to imagine that day, when he’ll be able to share this world with Cas and teach him all the secrets he’s learned about this vast universe.
