CHUOL
I don't think Syd Mead gets enough attention for his fashion designs.
Take a look at the folks in the two pics above, for example. I cannot get enough of that guy on the right in the full-torso stand collar / pauldron / wrap-around capelet thing. Wild. The dude in black ain't dressed too shabby, either.
Couple more people (and possibly a robot) rocking the big collars. They guy in yellow seems quite pleased with himself. I like the floral brocade (?) details Mead went to the trouble to add here, on this tiny, half-hidden background figure who is almost cut off the edge of the piece. We'll see more of that later.
Here's a crop of a future running of the Kentucky Derby! Interesting jacket this guy in the white has, with more of that textured fabric in big vertical panels on the sides. That blue & black cloak is quite eye-catching, too.
An older piece (I think?), with some fun, tall collars on a man and a woman. Possible textured fabric, too. This guy is halfway to a Cyberpunk Edgerunners jacket, sixty years ago!
Vaguely medieval /renaissance costume on the attendant here, and again we see bold, bright colored (and textured?) fabric used on him and the riders. The bubble helmets are an interesting touch.
