"Waking Phantasmagoria" c.2004-ish, acrylic on canvasboard. Aka: dreaming while fully awake. I've never had sleep paralysis, so I've had no sleep paralysis demons. However most of my auditory hallucinations happened at night upon going to bed, when I had them. Mostly they took the form of either a radio just barely audible, stations turning, or music that resembled an actual song I knew but as I listened would change according to my thoughts. If I heard voices, they were usually unintelligible. If I was frightened enough (because I knew they were hallucinations and I'm scared of my own mind) they'd turn into demons growling from a corner of my room, or hissing voices telling me they knew what I was thinking. Visual hallucinations happened too, but never at the same time. Visual hallucinations were absolutely silent, and auditory hallucinations were only heard, mot seen. They never mixed. But they were terrifying at times. They seem to be in remission now.
