AMERICAN actor Charlie Carver has no regrets about coming out as gay to his fans, calling the decision the best professional choice he’s made in his life. The Desperate Housewives and Teen Wolf star was named Attitude Magazine’s Bachelor of the Year in association with Blued, on Thursday night, an honour that he jokingly put down to his US accent.Since sharing a series of heartfelt Instagram posts with his fans last January in which he revealed his sexuality, Charlie said he’s had nothing but support. Speaking to The Sun Online, he explained: “It’s been overwhelmingly positive. It’s the best decision I’ve made on a professional level, and I feel I get to move forward with my career with not only more integrity but a sense of purpose. “I wasn’t not out to my friends and family, and living in Los Angeles I was very much open with who I was. That decision to carry it out to the public, it’s given me something to engage with and participate in a larger conversation and add some visibility to the LGBTTQQIAAP community.” #VITALIVE2018 #CHARLIECARVER #VITALGBTQ
