The end titles for 2020 have finally fallen. So I'm celebrating the final day of this rough year with my version of the end titles of "Ashes to Ashes". This show has helped me pull through these long and lonely months and gave me friends and the greatest company I could have asked for.

So here's to our heroes. May 2021 be the year we get confirmation we'll be seeing this gang reunite in our screens! And that the Guv will be seeing his Bolly and will never part from her again!

Brooklyn Nine Nine, whomst? This is clearly the best cold open any detective show of the 21st century has ever had.

Every time I watch Ashes To Ashes 2x04, I always see, quite clearly, that Luigi seriously isn't getting paid enough for this shit.

Also, Alex and Gene are about as subtle as a brick, and the fact that Viv, Ray, Chris and Shaz can all suspect there's something going on proves that point even more.

How well I think Life on Mars / Ashes to ashes characters would do on traitors

1. Alex drake.

Alex is the faithful who gets murdered the first night because she’s too clever. Unless she is smart enough to lie about her qualifications and tell everyone she’s a waitress or something in which case she’d win.

2. Sam Tyler

Sam is the faithful who gets banished bc people think “you’re so nice it makes sense to make you a traitor”. When all he’s done is said hello to everyone and made tea.

3. Gene hunt

Gene is the faithful who gets murdered three days in because he’s beating people up in an attempt to find out who the traitors are.

4. Ray carling

Ray is the traitor who everyone believes is a faithful because he keeps his head down, right up until he accidentally blurts out something only a traitor would know (see Freddie saying Minah told him about the shield)

5. Annie Cartwright

Annie is the actual “nice person under cover as a traitor” she avoids suspicion for a few days, until Chris and Ray decide they’re going to throw her under the bus to take heat off Chris.

6. Chris Skelton

Chris is the Linda. He is a traitor and he cannot keep it a secret. He only avoids heat for the first few round tables because he opts to murder shaz very early (and then throw Annie under the bus for it)

6. Shaz granger

Shaz is a faithful, everyone knows it. She puts her all into the team challenges but knows Chris too well so the traitors murders her before she can accuse him.

7. Phyllis Dobbs

Phyllis trusts no one and no trusts her. She sits back and watches drama unfold and then in the finale comes from behind to win.

8. Viv James

Viv also doesn’t trust people but he hides it better than Phyllis. He is her joint winner.

9. Jim keats

Jim keats takes the role of Claudia winkleman and very much revels in turning them all against each other
