I honestly can't put into words what Keith means to me, but I just want to wish the bestest boy a happy birthday. He is my moon and stars, my heart and soul, and he deserves everything good in this world. He deserves all of the love!! He has grown so much and I'm so proud of him. My beautiful, beautiful boy ❤

Keith baby you are everything to me. We are so blessed to have Keith, blessed to have someone as amazing as Steven Yeun bring him to life. Since they're going back to earth think of everything we'll get to see. Lance finally seeing his family again. Allura and Coran being fascinated w everything about earth. Keith and his mom possibly visiting the shed. So many things....

so the cinderella!au it’s gonna have a couple of inspirations from some books and maybe some au’s, ive got it all in my mind trust me.

and i thought i’d made this work with shance since i’ve got another one on the making with klance. so basically just to switch things up a bit !

under the cut are more details if you’re interested !!

so in general, there will be no magic, that’s why i want the title to have that element in it. i’ve been thinking on calling this au with some references to the live action movie but idk, i still have to think about that.

the inspiration comes from this amazing art by fell, and while i was watching cinderella, this piece came to my mind. hadn’t it been for it, maybe i wouldn’t have had the idea of this au. 

so as for the characters, i decided to mix up the live action movie roles with marissa meyer’s ‘cinder’, where one of the stepsisters is quite nice with the main character. up till now, this is how i have the characters listed :

of course the main characters are going to be lance, with ella’s role and shiro with the prince’s

i don’t have any character to play as lance’s father, but i figured that haggar/honevra would have lady tremaine’s role. i still don know which name to use for her, but i’m sure this is her role

now for the step-siblings. it is important for the story for one of them to be a man, so i’ve chosen lotor for one of them; allura would have the role of the other sibling

lotor would be a bit more bitchy, but allura would be kindest -she mirrors peony in ‘cinder’- and also somehow has the role of the fairy godmother

tis is kinda tricky but it’ll have to do with further on int he story. basically she’s the nice sister.

i debated for a while now which role would pidge and hunk play, but at the end, i decided on giving them the roles of duke/duchess or any royal part

this is also important for the story, since i need them to be close to the royal family, and to already know them 

keith’s part is honestly my favorite : he has the captain’s role, from the live action movie

his relationship with the prince, in the movie, gives me brotherly vibes, and here, i plan to do the same. 

for the king, i stood clueless wondering who could i have here, and the safest option i had was kolivan i’m still not 100% convinced about this, but it’s a start

i was also debating who to have as the duke, and at first, i have seen lotor in that role, though now i can also see zarkon there. as for this one, i’m much more convinced this way. so zarkon as the duke

oof, now, i wanted to include princess chelina’s role for some extra drama, but i’ve been cautious bc of the recent discourse™, but i’ve finally decided to also have allura in this role. 

i have a whole lot of ideas as to how to progress with the story, but just as ever, i might take an eternity to complete this fic. so i’ll try to have some schedule to make drafts, and try to find some betas. if you’re interested please let me know !! i really want this to be a good, concluded project.
