What does a flower sound like?
Every now and then people ask me what Pointy and Shifter sound like, but truth be told, I’m curious too! So I’ve decided I want to ask!
What voices do you imagine for Pointy and Shifter? What about the other characters? I’d like to know!

Whoops! I forgot to mention how I imagine the flower voices, haha. I think Flowey has a raspy voice for any neutral situation but a kind, cheery sound for any time he's being kind for whatever reason (probably just messing with people tho lol). For Shifter I think of a raspy voice but slightly lower and more... "whiney" than Floweys? When he's being honest, that "raspiness" fades to a more normal, young voice. For Pointy I definitely think a young, nervous child voice more quiet than other two
((Ooh, that’s a different take. Flowey changing his voice when he’s acting ‘kind’ is totally something he’d do, haha. It’s interesting that this feature seems to have carried over to Shifter too! I wonder if Pointy’s voice would grow raspy if he acts dishonest or mean? ))
I always imagined Flowey having a high-pitched, cartoony voice because of his speech blips, so Shifter and Pointy would be rather similar. Shifter's a little more smooth and Pointy's a little more raspy and shy.
((Ooh. Most others also gave Pointy a shy and/or melancholy voice, but I think this is the first time I’ve heard of him having a raspy voice. It makes a lot of sense with his speech bubbles! Makes a nice contrast to Shifter having a smooth voice, too.))
