Sketches from my Hollow Knight AU, where the Void is taking over rather than the Light! The king tries to create beings that are pure light (and still hollow) to contain the void. We see in the game the Void has some sort of pull, which is where the idea came from!
Hollow Knight once they've been infected. Instead of losing their arm, the void takes over and forms a tendril.
I traced over a sprite to see what the knight would look like in game.. I might do something different with the nail, unsure yet

I've written out a bunch of ideas but haven't drawn a lot of them. Hopefully more sketches to come! I'm still workshopping a cool name for this AU, so I'm just gonna tag it as Void Infection for now
