absolute wonder woman fucks SO hard i have... started reading it, and then in the fashion that i tend to read comics i kinda fell out of it for no reason. i have comic object permanence issues asjlkgdka. like i have fully INTENDED to pick it back up but i still havent 😭

Maybe bc I'm white but I think that we do need some kind of police force or something to help protect those who cant protect themselves? Everyone talks no cops at pride but when u live in a small town where 75%of people have guns pride is scary to think about w out someone there to keep those who'd shoot innocent queer people on the other side of the gate. Granted all police should be subjected to a higher standard and held accountable for actions carried out by all cops

I understand that instinct also as a white person, but I think policing in any form resembling what we have today shouldn‘t exist. in terms of things like pride, also as a queer person in a conservative area, i am of the no cops at pride opinion, because the most vulnerable parts of our community and those most likely to be the targets of violence (people of color and trans women) are also those who are most likely to be the targets of police violence. I don’t want people who commit violence against members of my community to be responsible for protecting them, even if as a white kid I’m sure they would be willing to protect me

I think community self-defense is always the best way to deal with threats of violence. I think a showing of unarmed monitors in support of protests and pride is the most the federal government need to get involved tbh

yeah yeah yeah!!!!!!!!! figayda is just. they’re so good!! they come from very different walks of life and, from completely different angles, both have a difficult time connecting to people. fig had her entire social life completely upset by her learning that she was a tiefling and so now hides behind her disguises, and ayda never really had the chance to make friends with other folks her age and has a difficult time understanding and bonding with people. (i say that, but as soon as she was extended an olive branch in the form of boggy and verbal confirmation of friendship she was instantly on board, and it hurts my heart so much that she hasn’t really ever had friends. do you think that as a kid, she used to read the notes of her past selves and think of them as her friends?)
