Guys it's Volkner Day, a totally legit and official day (it's not) to celebrate the existence of this menace of a gym leader

Okay I'll admit I started this artpiece for Valentines Day but couldn't finish it back then so what better day to finish it than TODAY !!

I drew this for Volkner day ! (which was March 11th but ignore that I only finished that today)

This is the 1st anniversary of Volkner Day existing hehe (you can see last year's post about it here), in short me and my friends randomly decided March 11th would be Volkner Day and we drew him ! Next year I shall try to be on time ÒwÓ

Anyway have some headcanons about Cynthia and Volkner under cut

Alright so you may be more familiar with my Elesa/Volkner friendship propaganda but before them I used to think about the Cynthia/Volkner friendship ! And after 1 year I finally drew it haha !!

- I hc Cynthia to be very knowledgable about medicinal herbs and such and she knows how to make a lot of remedies thanks to her grandma ! (this comes from the fact that in game she knows how to make the Psyduck headache remedy)

- I like the idea of them having tea together from time to time ! Sometimes, tho pretty rare, it would be to relax after an exciting and passionate battle ! And so eventually Cynthia will brew some homemade tea or something and always brag about the benefits of it. Volkner isn't as convinced as she is about it but it doesn't taste bad so XD

- Cynthia doesn't get sick often. Maybe her remedies and infusions really are effective. But the one day she gets sick, Volkner will tease her about it.

- When they chat, they like to tease each other a little, it's never mean it's like a lil' game. Cynthia draws the line at speaking ill of her grandma remedies XD

- They may have different interests, but that doesn't prevent them from infodumping on each other haha !

- When Flint is around it can get really goofy/silly haha ! Not everyone knows it but Cynthia has a goofy side, and the goofy potential increases when the three of them are together (Swag Trio moment aldldldk)
