Look guys! I found Shiro!
Not even sorry.
how much were the lions and how long did they take to get to you?
After shipping and customs, they came to $241.59 (rip my wallet). I was given an estimate arrival of anywhere between January 30th and February 7th when I ordered on the 21st of January. They shipped literally the day after I ordered them and arrived early this morning (the 25th). I was surprised by the quick delivery but I’m definitely not complaining because I’m in love.
A few points about them (as someone who has a lot of figurines, I tend to nitpick things):
the pain jobs are quite nice! other than a few missing flecks of paint, they have a really nice finish and the paint is even and smooth.
they have SO MUCH ARTICULATION. like honestly they can move in almost any way you want them too and it’s amazing
HOWEVER - all that articulation is sometimes a pain when it comes to forming Voltron, making it hard to get the exact pose you want. Voltron is hard to position and tends to fall over a lot (probably due to how HEAVY it is full assembled!), but it still looks fucking incredible
Voltron’s arms (red and green) are hard to get out once you have him assembled. It took me over five minutes to figure out how to get the first arm out, even after watching two tutorials online, and i was seriously worried about damaging my figures bc of how hard i was pulling on them. They do come out but be careful during de-assembly.
Sometimes the feet (yellow and blue) start to move in their OWN articulation when you’re trying to move Voltron around. I had trouble getting Voltron to stand flat bc Yellow and Blue kept moving their paws and shifting Voltron’s balance. It was a trial and error process honestly.
The lions are super expressive and truly adorable. Their mouths open and close, which took up ten minutes of my time bc i was just marvelling at how cute they are.
The additional weapons (like Pidge’s vine cannon and Lance’s ice beam) are super fun!!!!! I accidentally shot one of Hunk’s saucer things and knocked my Isaac Clarke figurine off my shelf from how strong its impact was ahahah
Overall, the Lions are amazing and don’t regret a fucking penny of what I spent on them. I’m gonna give them some touch ups for their paint job but damn dude these figures are........... so fuck ing niCE.
