You’re back!!!! Feels like ages since I last saw you in my notes!!

I’m back! Had a little bit of a hectic last year or two BUT I’m in a pretty good place right now and got that spark back in me again! It’s funny being back because it’s been so long I’m sorta back to square one which is nice! I missed this place! I cant believe anyone even remembers me lol!

Soooo I work in death care as an apprentice and for clarification on your mortician reader bc I love and support your fic but am also in mortuary college. A coroner is an elected official and typically it’s the county sheriff that’s the coroner. You might be thinking of the pathologist that’s in the prep room executing autopsies and such. Though they’re not usually a mortician, they go to med school. OR you could have your reader working as an autopsy tech and does mortuary work/embalming as trade work 😎 you see that sometimes in this industry. Just for clarification from someone in the field :D

You mortuary!anon are an absolute icon to me right now and I super appreciate you!!! I was so in over my head when I was googling and researching anything and everything I could during my off time in between my full time job. I just I do your profession some justice and dont like screw it up because it is honestly a very special and respectful profession. Autopsy work! That’s what I was trying to figure out! I just couldnt word it right in my research! I remember seeing something about that but wasnt sure how to then look it up because my googling was ROUGH!

So hell yeah! Thank you so much, you are absolutely so clutch for this and it is decided! Mortician!Reader is a mortician first and foremost and in the future occasionally when the time presents itself (and if a fic idea ever comes along) is an autopsy tech.
