This is a tough one. Not because this beer is confusing flavor wise, but mainly because they really gave me nothing to work with at all with the title of this one. The worst part is, this beer is actually really friggin’ good for the style but I don’t have much to joke about so let’s just get into the flavors, shall we? A nice roast-y caramel and toffee flavor starts this off with a light chocolate flavor mixing in quickly after before ending with a sweet sugary malt flavor to wrap things up. There really isn't a crazy amount going on here but there isn’t supposed to be which is what I think I like about it most. I must admit that even though this is my last beer from Von Trapp, it’s been one hell of a ride and this is a great way to end things and this definitely won’t be the last beer I drink by them. If you are just getting into craft pick this up and shake your badonkadunkel because this is a great brew and a great way to gain your membership to the bastard drinking club. For current members, I’d definitely pick this up if you are looking to stray from the normal styles so grab a bottle and chug it down!
