Vortex Cookie (Dragon)

A sparkly dragon of the cosmos.

The clash was powerful, intense, and shook the ground far more than advised. Bolts of energy struck all around as the dragon battled, moon rocks were fired and vortex’s were torn open to counter anything thrown. The ground was soon scarred by combat, dragons who dueled while trying to make sure nothing was destroyed. Universe was already tired from before, and now he was struggling to keep up with Bright Moon. The darkness made her attacks far more stronger than they would be normally, and he had to make great effort to duck when anything came his way. Even then, he still got injured and he could tell Bright Moon was also starting to tire and had her own scrapes appearing. They gave it their all, Universe didn’t want to back down. He wanted to save her. He wanted to save Bright Moon.

Yet they still fought, beams of light and darkness sending shockwaves across the arena, cracking the ground, and making thunderous booms when they met. They were still countering each other, even in their fated battle. Universe was starting to feel even more tired, but even with the aches and pain he still fought Bright Moon. At long last...He won. The last blast overpowered her, and she fell backwards slowly as the darkness faded. It soon was gone, but Bright Moon didn’t budge. Universe turned back to his normal form, and rushed over though he too was tired.

‘‘Bright Moon...?’‘ He whimpered, as he carefully lifted her up. She stirred only slightly in his arms, mumbling weakly before opening her eyes slightly. She looked strangely transparent in the moonlight, but her wings still shimmered just as brilliantly as they used to. ‘‘....U..niverse......’‘ She smiled softly, weakly brushing his face. ‘‘M..aybe when....We meet again......I’ll....Be better...’’ She sighed slightly, the moon on her clothing glowing brightly. And soon...She simply vanished. Into the moonlight, a sparkling light that faded as Universe  stared blankly at the night sky. ‘‘Br..ight Moon.....?’’ His voiced cracked again, tears starting to gather in his eyes as he looked back down. All that remained was a weathered piece of wood, with an eclipse carved into his surface. His feelings overwhelmed him, a curtain shrouded him, and Vortex re-appeared only to collapse in tears. 

The moons bright glow dimmed slightly, but Bright Moon promised she’d return someday. Nicer, kinder, and better than she had acted for so long. Vortex hiccupped and sobbed even when Galaxy and Timekeeper returned...He didn’t want to go back to the cosmos station. Yet the trio left anyway, Vortex was sure Bright Moon would never come back.

He entered his room at the station, and stared out the window solemnly. He still missed her.....Maybe she would come back, soon.

Vortex Cookie

A Cookie of questionable origin and motive, he dwells somewhere in the cosmos and only appears when Tech Cookie and Holo-Map Cookie are around in special locations. His four wings sparkle slightly, and allow him flight when needed. He is family to those Cookies, but Rival to Eclipse Cookie.

His main ability involves turning into a creature of starry skies and destroying anything nearby with mini black holes. Quite powerful, yet scarcely seen by most Cookies. His appearance seems casual for someone whose said to be a sentient universe.

Vortex (Universe) Cookie is often found asleep in his favorite chair. His wings attach to it so he’s not hindered by them.

Universe/Vortex and Bright Moon

What was meant to be the ‘tastiest cookie in the universe’ instead became a sentient universe of sorts. Universe Cookie, often preferring to be called Vortex Cookie, is a reclusive Cookie harboring the powers of the cosmos to an extent of vortex’s and stars. He’s said to be quite powerful, but doesn’t generally use his abilities to harm anyone. Vortex Cookie has four small wings, and a streak of silver where his lower pair connect. His pet is a licorice bat, which has baking glitter sprinkled on making it just as starry as the universe. Vortex resides in his own special place: The Cosmos Station. It is not uncommon for Gingerbrave and Co to stumble upon him sleeping in his chair when they access the warps to his location.

Vortex Cookie has a rival relationship with Eclipse Cookie, and they will fight if you have them together. But under certain conditions, a different Cookie may come to their aid if their fighting together against a target...

Vortex Cookie uses his starry powers to transform into a starry black dragon who summons black holes and surrounds itself in a barrier of stars to effortlessly destroy obstacles. His pet can supply him with mini stars outside of his ability.

Introduction - Cosmos Cookies

The cosmos station, a large station that has existed in space for as long as anyone remembers. Built at an unknown time for an unknown purpose, it has long been thought to be abandoned since no Cookie dared to explore it as access is only by a strange glowing symbol resembling a vortex..That is, until Gingerbrave and friends stumbled upon it. Within it’s many halls, many passages, they came upon a Cookie who had only been spoken of in many legends. Universe Cookie, often called Vortex Cookie, was fast asleep on his chair. He seemed mildly alarmed when they found him, and he fell off his chair. He assured them he meant no harm once he was back on his feet. From then on, Vortex Cookie has (warily) accepted visitors to his station, whispers abound he has family but they don’t show themselves often.

A small lake, reflecting the moonlight when night has fallen. It is thought that this lake enchants the gaze of any who look upon its surface. A house is built nearby, decorated with moon-themed objects and has a large viewing platform looking out onto the lake. While this house looks rather plain, the Cookie within it is far from average. In a time long forgotten, there was a Cookie called Bright Moon Cookie. A cookie rumored to have baked under an eclipse, but fell to the darkness and became a tyrant. When she disappeared, it took a long time before a different Cookie was discovered at the lake. Eclipse Cookie was seemingly exhausted, she didn’t remember very much, but she was strangely docile. Her home is quite simple, but she isn’t too keen on venturing out.

A mysterious Cookie said to be from scraps that created Universe and Bright Moon. Galaxy Cookie is elusive as they are mysterious, teleporting freely and sleeping in the shadows. Their wings are far too big for flight, yet they still can get around just fine. Galaxy does not seek to harm any who find them, but they also lack an idea of their purpose. They do not have a true home, and travel the world to discover why they exist. Perhaps in dire times, they will aid Vortex and Eclipse.

An ominous cookie, cloaked by a shroud of darkness, A scepter possessing a crystal of three colors (purple/light purple/yellow), held in one hand. They wear a cloak, decorated with keys they’ve collected over time...And smell like coffee, strangely. They have yet to reveal what they truly look like, but they go by ‘Keykeeper Cookie’. They carry around a book, writing in it many stories and sometimes adding pictures. Keykeeper does not speak very often, but she will answer questions directed her way. She is very fond of keys, and coffee.
