reread moe again whos surprised!!
chapter 4 is like one of my favorite things ever because your characterization is just so good, i really dont know how you do it. so many new people are introduced and they all get their time to shine and its funny and flirty and sweet and absolutely everything to me
also because of the porch scene. etho and tango my beloveds they cant say no to those damn brown eyes
ps ranchers chapter 4 (and end of chapter 3) are soooo hate to be lame its insane. i love that song. “its always on the tip of my tounge” as if that doesnt describe their relationship SO perfectly
I feel so awful that chapter five is taking me sooooooo long to finish. It's exactly what I feared it was, MoE burn out. I'm doing all my short form holiday projects and things are goin great with those, meaning I've sat on MoE so long she's getting hard to write. This is NOT what I want to happen, especially because I have no plans to abandon her. We are finishing this damn fic!! I did chip at it a little last night, slow slow slow baby steps with it so I don't hate everything I've written ever, these are feelings they should tell you in creative writing classes because if my teachers had mentioned this to me I might have been more cautious with myself.
No matter that, Thank you for still loving whats posted. I honestly have no idea how I did all the characters justice, there are even more in chapter five and I try to give some of them a little light. I definitely feel like Etho and Jimmy's relationship hasn't come across well yet, so I plan to try and integrate that slowly into the background and make it known that while Jimmy does have a person he considers a father figure, Etho is up there too. And that just adds to the fun of Etho&Tango being friends. I find my ways to sneak in age gap propaganda.
Etho&Tango mean so much to me. I do try and highlight Bdubs&Tango later too, because I think their dynamic isn't ALL Tango third wheeling, Hermicraft clips really fuel that one for me.
As for the Lizzie song, I do love hate to be lame and I think I had some small thoughts to putting it on a playlist at some point. I think at this point it's safe to assume that Lizzie McAlpine has influenced the tone of this entire fic HEAVY, if only because I always come back to Older (and wiser) while writing. Even that songs that don't "fit" the story I have planned, have found a way to effect the tone.
