Everyone who lives in the UK!

Tonight is your final deadline to register vote. Please do it. I don’t care who you vote for, just register to vote. Because at 23:59 (11:59 pm) on the 26th of November (tonight at time of writing) that’s the deadline. No more registering to vote.

Students, please register to vote at your university and your home constituencies, but remember you can only vote once.

Autistic people have a voice in this election. Use it.

FLORIDA VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE

Hey Florida!

I haven't seen anything on my dash yet about the voting deadline, so I figured I'd make one.

Today, February 16, 2016 at 5:00 PM is the deadline to register to vote in the primary election! You MUST have your paperwork submitted by 5:00 PM TODAY or you will not be able to participate.

Information on the Election Dates and Bookclosing deadlines is available at the Florida Department of State website here.

For those of you who have never registered before:

- Florida has a closed primary system! This means you must be registered either Democrat or Republican in order to vote in the primaries. - While you can use many websites (such as TurboVote) to quickly fill out your Voter Registration Application, you CANNOT SUBMIT IT ONLINE! Your application needs to be submitted either in person or by mail TODAY by 5:00 PM.  - You can submit your Voter Registration Application in person at the DMV or to any other agency specified here. - To mail in your Voter Registration Application, you will need to select the correct address for your county which you can find on the third page of this PDF! - Certain areas on your Voter Registration Application may need to be filled out manually, such as your ID number which will be used to verify you on election day. Please review your application very carefully to ensure you don't miss anything! (Examples of acceptable ID numbers include a valid Florida driver's license number, a Florida identification card number, or the last four digits of your Social Security number) - Here is a link to an online form which you can mail in that gives you step by step instructions on how to register and which is available in multiple languages! - If you CANNOT GET TO A VOTING POLL ON ELECTION DAY you will need to fill out an Absentee Ballot Form in addition to your Voter Registration Application! You can do that here. - You are only allowed to vote in person in the county your home address is listed in! This means that if you live in Daytona (Volusia County) you will not be able to vote from Orlando (Orange County). Keep this in mind when you are looking at whether or not you will be able to get to the polls on time!
