her body stiffened up as she felt his arms around her, a feeling so familiar yet had felt like a distant dream for a very long time. she did not deserve this. his kindness, his love, his loyalty... truly, a selfish girl as she did not deserve any of it. yet, he still gave it to. the moment she was summoned she said she would not cry where he could see. in their life she had already been too much of a burden, she did not wish to continue that as a heroic spirit. but the tears formed and quickly began rolling down her cheek at the feeling of his fingers in her hair. all of his sufferings, emotionally and physically, was all her fault...so why?
after a moment, her arms wrapped around him to return the embrace and her body finally relaxed into it.
