Cursed ship: Willow Rosenberg/John Mitchell

Curse Factor 8 4 / 10

Quite literally-- Mitchell would definitely run the risk of getting himself cursed! Well... Probably more like hexed in self defense!

If they met while Mitchell was still on the bandwagon, they could be good for each other. Willow might seem like a creampuff, but she's more than capable of defending herself. And she knows a thing or two about vampires!

They could bond over the fact that they both have profound darkness in their pasts, and sides of themselves they're deeply ashamed of.

If they met after the Box Tunnel 20 Massacre--

My original thought was that it would be a complete no go. Mitchell was a wreck, and everything had just fallen down around his ears. Everything he'd worked so hard for had turned to ash in a moment of weakness.

But the more I think about it, that might not be a deal breaker for Willow. She's seen darkness, and while she has trouble forgiving herself, the same can't be said about her capacity for forgiving other people.

This could be a story with a lot of depth and introspection and drama, and I'm here for it!

Cursed ship: Yavanna/Namo

Curse Factor 3 / 10

I absolutely love this, in a Hades and Persephone sort of way! They're both Valar, and understand how vitally important they are to Arda. But also, their positions mean they both spend a lot of time around the living.

Yavanna is present at the start of their lives, and Namo at the end, bookending the mortal experience.

On a more personal level, Namo could probably use some of Yavanna's joy an enthusiasm, to brighten up his otherwise very solemn life.

And Yavanna needs to rest sometimes, so where better than the quiet Halls of Mandos?

This is fantastic, definitely a new wishlist pairing!

Cursed ship: Lydia Branwell/Maryse Lightwood

Curse Factor 9 / 10

Even if it wasn't for the fact that Maryse was going to be her mother-in-law, this would absolutely never work.

Maryse is everything Lydia could never bring herself to trust. Oh, she has respect for how she's managed to drag herself back to somewhat respectability after her fall from grace, and she has no doubt that Maryse is deadly in the field.

But romantically? Lydia would sooner take a vow of silence and join the Iron Sisters!

Cursed ships! Jeremina Bellamy/Captain Jack Sparrow

Curse Factor 4 / 10

They would have gotten along famously when they were younger! A pair of adventurous pirates, getting into all manner of trouble and making names for themselves, against the backdrop of the sunny Caribbean?

But at a certain point, somewhere between Barbossa's mutiny and the Aztec gold, and Jack going absolutely off the deep end-- their paths diverge. She has her own crew to look out for, and she doesn't want (or need!) a share of his bad luck.

Cursed? Maybe... But a lot of fun to explore!

It’s a rare thing for Vox to ask for his help especially when it came to the moth. Saying his name made him gag. He was glad that Veronique was enjoying her childhood without being dragged in either of their roles as Overlord. Yes, she understood her fathers had a higher standing than other sinners and had powers that all she really needed to know and understand for now. His ears twitch as he listens to her infectious little giggles. Yes his hearing was good but he snapped back into the room when he heard Vox’s voice.  Crimson gaze moves away from the paper work he was reading to softly gaze at his husband's screen from his seat next to him. 

He should have taken care of that damn moth years ago. 

A claw hand moved across the desk to take vox’s in his own to give her hand a gentle squeeze. “Darling we both know he is not the type of man to go out quietly.” Angels knew that Alastor wished that too but that all it was a wish and those are for children like their daughter and the one they only just found out about a week or so before. So much had happened to them both in such a short amount of time but now was the right time to get the ball rolling on getting rid of any connections to Valentino. 

He is careful as he leans into Vox to not to ruin the paper work they had sorted into piles as he moves to press a kiss in the very corner of Vox’s screen that he knew Val favoured. “I love how hard you are working to protect our family but look at the positives here as well, he doesn't know about my current condition because if he did I’m sure he would try something he has never seen Veronique face.” He bring vox hand up to his lips a press a small kiss to it. “Maybe we should take a little break for five minutes?" He always wanted to step away from the desk for a moment he never understood how Vox could stay hunched over it for so long.
