I'm pretty stoked about my governor as the VP selection. Walz has a bit of that Jon Tester thing — blue collar background, rural and military bona fides — where a lot of the usual b.s. Republican attacks aren't going to find any traction, but he's blue to the bone. He was a high school teacher and coach, so you know he sees all the nonsense and can herd cats. He's done some really fantastic, progressive things for Minnesota and has remained popular while making good things happen because he's just so fucking pragmatic about it all. Delighted to see him on a bigger stage.
