Something that means the world to me:

Dance Marathon.

We support some of the cutest kids and some of the most humble, deserving families. Their kids have been diagnosed, usually from birth, with some crazy things many people outside of medicine would ever imagine to exist: half a heart, a closed off esophageal tube, a skull that will not fuse, and the list goes on.

These little nuggets are so full of joy, and every minute I spend working towards the Big Event and fundraising is more than worth it. All the banners we've painted, all the press releases, the phone calls, the carnivals at the hospital...all those things are for one thing: to provide care for these kids.

First VUDM event tomorrow.

I am so blessed to be a part of this organization. Being on Exec Board has already made me fall even more in love with the Miracle Network and all of the kids we get to visit and support.

Of all the things I've ever been involved with, DM is the one thing I don't want to leave in college.
