Multiples of 7 for the ask meme! :D
7. Your favorite downtime activity.I!! LOVE!!! CAROUSING!!!!! I love any of my dumb garbage characters getting themselves into trouble and then dealing with the aftermath!Although lately, in Alluvia, our downtime is interacting with the students at our school. M rolls on an table, and we have an encounter with certain kids. Both are nice!
14. Introduce any other parties you have played in or DM-ed.I’m gonna shorten the other post and throw my other most-played game party in here:
Kadri, a human Undying Warlock whose patron is the weakened aspect of Birth and Death. He comes from an extremely wealthy background and though his family has since lost everything, his entitled attitude remains. Kadri has trouble trusting others, which leads him to make the terrible decisions that cause others to distrust him.
Tandi, an air genasi paladin/sorcerer (played by M). She is altruistic, humble, and straightforward. Her faith in the future of a restored world borders on psychotic.
Atiyah, the water genasi druid is anxious, extremely aloof, sticks to her habits and creature comforts, but is nonetheless extremely loyal and strong-willed. Her heart is in the right place and she is willing to be the first to take a stand and show ruthlessness if necessary. (I’m tbh the most afraid of her.)
Darakos, a feral tiefling rogue. He was born in a brothel and raised by two assassin women, and thus has a cynical and mercenary attitude. He’s softened a bit now that he is among friends.
And finally,Junji, a young wood elf battlemaster fighter. He was frozen in stone 800 years ago while he was on a special mission, and was found and revived by Atiyah when she was a child. She adopted him as her brother and he has been driving her crazy with his excitable nature ever since. Junji was believed to be the last elf and most of the campaign was completing his special mission of reviving all of the gods to help us in restoring the world. We still have a ways to go!
21. Have you ever regretted something your character has done?Uh oh, this again! I try not to regret my character’s decisions OOC, honestly, But… Bruno has been dealing with threats against his family back in fantasy Europe, and he recently enlisted the help of a frienemy pirate who has a summoning Gate in order to summon the person who made the threat (his nemesis, Avonrue, whom I talked about in an earlier ask) to try to interrogate and defeat her. He failed. I wish that he’d thought to do some recon on his family and then summon THEM so that they would be safe. Instead, we walked right into a huge trap and lost our two paladins. Whoops!
28. How often do you use NPCs in a party? In any long-term game I’m in the party instantly attaches itself to several memorable NPCs, whether as lovers, grandpas, allies, frienemies, whatever. NPCs make a world feel rich and alive and I love to have…friends…
35. How much roleplay do you like to do?I like a balance of roleplay and combat, but I do tend to favor roleplay. My favorite moments in games are always party banter and socially-intense situations where character or plot developments blossom.
