every other star trek: vulcans are a touch telepath species that were once driven by extreme emotion. they adopted a philosophy of logic to help organise their society. vulcans are not inherently logical, it is something they learn through societal conditioning, training and self discipline. this way of life produced a lot of positive cultural development however can often be stifling on an individual level

strange new worlds: when the vulcan takes the human juice, he’s suddenly super emotional and out of control and when the humans take the vulcan juice they’re super duper logical and emotionless because vulcans and humans are so fundamentally different and their cultural differences are inherently biological actually

i am trying really hard to understand the naming rules on planet Vulcan without having any of the right books/the time to read them, and none of the information i have comes together at all. the easiest example is Spock, i have seen plenty of opinions that "Spock" could be either his first or last name.

what do you think Spock's first and last names are? (or family name???)
