Of course you've had a bunny before... it's not like you're not perfect enough already! The outdoor playpen sounds like an excellent idea. I was wondering how I could allow my bunny to go outdoors with me without worrying too much about her getting loose. When I had my bengal kitty, he went out with a harness on and my kitten Rukia never tries to get away, but I still walk her (or rather, let her walk me) on a leash. But I don't see any pictures of rabbits with collars and they are known for jumping, so I wasn't sure if that was even possible. An extra playpen seems a good solution.
