Admittedly, it was weird to be walking up to the building again, knowing the request he hoped to make. But there had always been somewhat of a kinship between Liam and Mitch, and even though they hadn’t been in touch for a while, he genuinely enjoyed the company of the man.
Stepping up to the counter of the front desk, he rang the little golden bell and waited a minute before flashing a bright smile as the owner walked in. “Liam,” he simply said, dipping his head. It had been a slow month, Mitch needed some extra cash, and he figured there were always things to do at a B & B. Right? “Hey man, been a while.”
