Maternity leave
Ugh it's a pain to figure out how much I'll get paid on maternity leave. I think I'll be paid 12.000 DKK ($1750) a month the entire year, but someone says I'll be paid 80% of my usual salary the first 6 months - and that's a bit more. Also, what am I being paid the 8 weeks before I give birth? 😩I literally can't even. This is harder than filling out taxes.

Just booked a know-the-sex scan! So hopefully we'll know this Thursday. I'll be 16 weeks then. I haven't told René - so it'll be a surprise. I'll buy a piece of very boyish or girlish clothing to tell him. I don't mind paying for a scan, because hopefully they'll confirm the gender at my 20 week scan.
She nods at Hayato, smiling thankfully as she takes the cheesecake. But Tomoe will not be defeated by this cat yet. She focuses her gaze, searching for Rin around... the entrance!!
Rin, fortunately, has not attempted to make another break out through the front door. Not that you’d be able to see her if she had. Regardless, she is not at the shop entrance.

Another day, another... Player trying to sell him a pin, probably. Akio wanted to go count up all the pins he’d amassed over the week so far, but he should probably do that when Hayato isn’t watching. He was already starting to feel Hayato zone in on the engagement ring on his hand. But maybe he was just imagining things...?
He sighed. Just... a few more days. And then all this will be over. And then you can tell Hayato.
