Yo! I liked how much energy I got after reading your last critique, so I'm asking for another one. This time for my shading practise. Was on a train and did bunch of different shapes, made them some sort of islandy-mountain and then started shading it out to give it more realistic shape while I was at home. Whacha think?

@thurilostiel Sorry it took me so long to get to this, you’ve asked me to comment on one of my greatest weaknesses wit shading 😭 The other is color
I guess what I can say is that this has a lot of depth, and it makes my eyes do funny things. I can’t tell if that’s exactly what you were going for, but I definitely see layers to the rocks, where the lighter portion is in the foreground and the darker portion is in the back. But since the shading doesn’t ALWAYS support that, I think that’s where my eyes are getting a little confused.I think that your background stuff is a little more solid! But like I said, shading is something I could never figure out in my own art so my opinion on it in someone else’s is not going to be worth all that much ;-;
Now to talk about your tags

It gives me a Little Mermaid-esque vibe, but the adult version. Love this for DPS. Love this for his lore
