Shhsgdhsgdb you really outdid yourself with endings and beginnings, the themes of beginning and ending with kageyamas career paralleledr with their relationship + the current haikyuu manga ending really made me emotional, haha. It felt warm, comfortable and so,so delicate , exactly like the idea of home being someone else!! I really like how even before reader told kageyama about the concept, he basically already knows, feels, and understands it 😭😭

i feel like kageyama understands but cannot put things into words often times, especially when it’s something that’s important and integral to his being, like volleyball, like home. Yuren! Your recent essay on chapter 401 really captured perfectly what haikyuu meant to me, personally and I loved it so much I copied it to my journal to look back on, haha. And I totally agree that volleyball is just an aspect in these characters' life, and generally the big picture of Haikyuu is about living enthusiastically, wholeheartedly, to love something so hard that you wouldn't be the same person without it- 😭😭😭
