Not the healthiest fish I’ve ever seen, but I was happy to see a fish of this quality still in this pond

The trick for catching these fish seemed to be casting across the water on to the bank and then lightly bring the lure into the pond. If I made a cast directly into the pond the fish seemed to instantly scatter
I was happy to see such a pristine little bass after a day of catching beat up fish
I switched from a purple to a red worm to see how the consistent the bite would be between the two colors. It seems the bass preferred the purple today
