Today UK hardcore-punk's Gallows announced the release of a new EP entitled 'Death is Birth' which will be available in early December.
The four track EP will be the first official release from the band since the departure of former front man Frank Carter who left the band back in July due to musical differences, and the first to feature Wade MacNeil (formerly of Alexisonfire).
Personally, I'm still hugely gutted by the fact that Carter is no longer with the band. He was one of the most energetic and unpredictible vocalists on the face of the Earth and a large part of what drew me to Gallows in the first place. But unlike alot of fans who simply abandoned ship and refused to give MacNeil a fair chance, I will remain as loyal as ever. After all, Gallows was never supposed to last longer than one album cycle and here we are all these years later and they're still pumping out some of the best punk rock since the genre's glory days some 30+ years ago.
'Death is Birth' will be available digitally and on limited edition 7" vinyl on Thirty Days of Night Records on December 5th. Until then, you can click on the photo above and see a video of the band performing one of their new songs.
