let me remind you of my first response to your assumption that my original post was talking about you:

i would just like to reiterate this specific part: "idek what you said lol”

and i still have absolutely no idea what you posted about or what you said regarding the episode. you made the assumption that i was talking about you specifically but i wasn’t. and when i informed you that i wasn’t talking about you, you still responded not understanding where i was coming from. so in response to you not understanding why i didn’t think that argument was valid, i was simply explaining what i meant by my first post. i was not directing it towards you specifically, but rather using the word “you” as a general term to describe those who i had previously said i was annoyed with, in order to explain where i was coming from. i don’t know why you would assume i was directing it towardsyou since i had already told you that my post wasn’t about you and i didn’t even know what you had said.

so i would like it if you would not a) make assumptions about what i was saying and b) jump downmy throat

and in response to your second paragraph, i’m pretty sure i already covered that when i said: “just because you weren’t completely satisfied on behalf of your favorite character and ship does not mean the episode sucked, it just means you weren’t completely satisfied according to your own personal tastes, and that’s fine” i don’t appreciate people telling other fans that the episode sucked based on their own personal tastes before other fans have even gotten a chance to watch it, and that’s what i was saying was ridiculous.

though just a friendly reminder that i was not talking about you specifically, though now i suppose it does apply to you specifically since your original assumption has lead this whole discussion to become blown out of proportion.

.....As much as I appreciate the complete and detailed play-by-play of everything, and the way you turned almost everything I said back on me...I am, believe it or not, totally aware of what transpired. 

Yes, you have absolutely no idea what I posted. That's kind of the point I was trying to make. You don't know my opinion, you just assumed. I never made an assumption that you were talking about me, I ASKED if you were talking about me ("was this about me lol"). & You didn't say you WEREN'T talking about me, actually -- you made it sound like you weren't entirely sure, which is why I responded saying that I was unsure of why you thought it wasn't a valid thing to say. Ugh I don't know, it seems like this was just a misunderstanding, and you didn't understand that I wasn't making an outright assumption, and I'm sorry for making things confusing, but just for future reference, using the word "you" repeatedly with italics kind of makes it sound like you're (very pointedly) talking to the other person in the conversation, and it did not exactly sound welcoming to a friendly discussion. 

And I still stand by what I said. Having an opinion based on "my own personal tastes" can be the same thing as "hey, I personally believe this episode sucked because a character I liked wasn't really involved as much as I wanted them to be". However, I get where you're coming from. When people like myself haven't watched it yet and people are just randomly saying it sucked, it can put an early impression into their minds.
