MUN: ANSWERED
@sundragcn 7. For movie or TV muses, what is your muse’s favorite scene? Why? Can you show a screenshot?
I ended up only doing ada cause this got long...
this whole sequence where Yu gets a chance to see Adachi’s past, his present, and what Adachi was really thinking every time Yu came to talk to him. We saw that Adachi has truly isolated himself throughout all his school years, how he reacts to the praise of his superiors, and the exact moment his mental health began to deteriorate. The way that Dojima’s small acts of kindness and his tough love brought him happiness but were also the complete tipping point for him.
This whole sequence did a better job explaining who exactly Adachi is and what is truly wrong with him within a minute than any other piece of Persona media has.
BUT I ALSO REALLY LIKE THIS SCENE TOO where Adachi says this to Yu because it’s clearly something he KNOWS will hurt Yu. He knows that building relationships and being viewed as someone reliable is something he holds dear and Adachi wants him GONE. Plus, he means it. Yu, in Adachi’s view, is invasive, denies him his privacy, and goes against things Adachi says makes him uncomfortable because Yu is acting on his own belief system. This following the two of them seeing the way the other views the world makes this a pretty intense scene.
and let me hit that AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. YOU HAD A BOND YOURSELF.
perks of wearing an abaya: you can get out of bed and walk out the house in like 10 minutes flat
