This story is and has been sitting in my drafts for like three months. Here's a snippet—maybe it'll spark the inspiration to finish it.
A continuation of the Everything Stew series, something lazy and sweet and spicy as usual... I have so many ideas but it's not writing the way I want.

"Good morning." You say softly, tipping your head back and welcoming the expected kiss that your beloved wizard bestows upon you. Your hand slides higher, up the side of his neck and to his face, your thumb tracing his cheekbone. "How did you sleep?"
"Quite well, I was rather exhausted after last night, after all." Gale chuckles softly, his fingers just lightly touching beneath your chin, words interrupted by more sweet kisses. "I woke up hot though."
"You've only just noticed?" You grin, pressing your body up tighter to his, the sleep shirt you're in lifting higher as you throw a leg over his hip, your other arm awkwardly crushed against the professor's chest... What are you supposed to do with your other arm in this position anyway?
"Ha ha. Very funny." Gale deadpans, rolling his eyes as you beam up at him, but the smile quickly returns—he can't help himself when you're all up in his space like this.
Your boyfriend rolls onto his back and you lift slightly to allow his arm beneath head, resting your cheek up his shoulder. Your leg is still strewn over his hips and you sigh in complete content. "I'm surprised you're still in bed."
"What?" Gale's fingernails scratch absently at your scalp and the sensation has your eyelids fluttering shut. "I can't enjoy a gloomy morning in bed with my girlfriend? I certainly can't read on the balcony in this weather."
You giggle, nuzzling against his bare skin, your fingers trailing through the hair on his chest. Gods, you're comfortable. "Of course you can—you're usually just the kiss and get up for coffee type."
"Yes, and you're the lie in bed until the last possible second type." Your beloved curls his arm around your head to pull you closer so he can smooch your forehead. "Hmm... There's just something about the rain that makes me want to stay here with you."
