⊰ As another stone met his flesh, the
teen’s gate sped, trying to get out of
the area as fast as he could. The young
kids would always pick on him for the
uniform he had to wear on the job. The
shorts that showed basically all of his
legs and the shirt that couldn’t fit his
torso, matched with a hat with the
silhouette of a rabbit’s head on it, it
made him a pretty big target. ⊱
⊰ The blonde quickly turned at the
voice that had seemed to be directed
towards him. Eyes fell on a very tall
( compared to Link’s small height of
5’3” ) and quite handsome man filled
his view. He stayed silent for a
moment, questioning silently if they
had been speaking to him, though
their eyes still met with his, so that
answered that question… ⊱
{ Oh, no, it’s cool. I’m fine. I’m used
to it by now, thanks. }
When Helios had been asked to accompany a small contingent of guards on their way to their new postings around Castle Town, he had agreed rather readily. The blond had been cooped up in Hyrule Castle for some time now and was aching to stretch his legs in both the metaphorical and physical senses.
It had gone smoothly enough, thankfully, and a few hours later the young noble-turned-knight was making his way back to the Castle with a bounce in his step.
His cheer soon left him when he noticed a small child throwing stones at a mailman, and he couldn't help but to call out in concern for his well-being.
It was rather clear that he had startled the other male, though he hadn't meant to. At the postman's confirmation of his state, he smiled softly, tilting his head in curiousity. There was something oddly familiar about him, he felt.
"I am glad, but it is troubling that anyone should have to become used to such treatment and behavior. Have you perhaps thought of speaking with the child's parents so they might reprimand him?"
