Graduation!

A shoutout to the fact that as of tonight I am an officially graduated student of the wonderful Walden II High School of Racine, Wisconsin. Tonight was awesome and it feels amazing to be finally done and ready to move up in the world.

A huge shoutout to the rest of the seniors that are graduating either tonight or later this month as well. You’re all super cool!

And last but not least, thank you to roosterteeth and specifically Burnie Burns for giving me the material for an awesome graduation speech. I used a Tucker quote which got the crowd roaring, and it just wouldn’t have been as fun without that.

I have about five or six different licenses, also a master’s in exceptional education, and all those processes have just showed I was a good student. I wanted something that truly was a reflection of my skills in the classroom. [...] For example, if a kid’s having trouble throwing a ball, to explain to the kids the different individual steps of throwing a ball: weight transfer, extension of arm, focus on the target.

Soccer has really grown in Racine. And it's reflected in the quality of play. There is a lot of home-town competition between the three schools, especially with the kids frequently having played against or with one another on their youth teams.
