so for the 2026-27 season i need to see the sharks up their walk in outfit game. no more tapered pants that stick to their legs, colours that don't go or random hats that don't match the rest of the fit. we're one of the youngest teams, the gen z's can't keep dressing like this😭 (igor chernyshov i don't mean you). this is just my opinion as someone who enjoys fashion, and absolutely not a hate post, i'll love my whimsical team whatever they wear, hell maybe part of their whismy is the bad fashion...

pants

these are the sorts of pants all hockey boys need to be wearing. more flattering and stylish, less suffocating. cherny is a good example of this when he does walk ins in more casual outfits, he has a more alternative style leading him to wear the baggy pants look. kiefer also had a gorgeous suit for one of their last games last season, the brown loose one. GORGEOUS.

upper body

now most of the time all the guys get this spot on. nice top, and/or blazer, tie depending on the look, casual t shirt, nice hoodie/jumper/cardigan, those letterman & zara jackets that will loves. LOVE.

where we go wrong is obviously the pants but also sometimes the colouring is off, for example the colour of the tie clashes with the rest of the suit. wenny always have has a gorgeous coloured suit, that burgundy colour one 👌 the deep reds, brown, beige, creams, white, green, blue, black are all beautiful colours for suits. less navy. MORE LINEN. pinstripe is always nice too.

or god forbid they pair a beanie with a suit🫩JUST NO. now a cap works with most looks, even a suit for hockey boys. beanie with more casual ones.

shoes & hair

never an issue with anyone's shoes, the guys always have lovely ones BUT its the their fear of socks that is the trouble. please no more short pants paired with naked ankle😭socks are IN guys. the exception is loose longer pants THEN the naked ankle works.

less slick backs and more fluffy hair please. let's be real, wenny is the only one who can pull a slick back off. pretty much everyone has gorgeous hair so not many worries about that. i do love the hockey hair cut. imo a few of the guys should consider shaving BUT obviously that's more of a personal preference thing not just a 5 minute fashion walk in thing so i won't go into that.

overall

looking into pictures most of the guys have great fashion sense (it's mainly just the pants that will ruin a look🥲) kiefer & chernyshov remain my fashion kings and will also has great style, he just needs grace around more to help (when she's there his looks normally get elevated slightly lmao). you can definitely tell who's wives help with styling or who has a stylist. OH and more ironing, less wrinkles.

anyway, super excited for next season, i might even start ranking looks or recording looks or something if anyone would be interested ??? i hope this post comes across well, i just love fashion, absolutely no judgement from me (apart from the pants COME ON) the guys can wear whatever they like and are comfortable in at the end of the day. i just believe fashion can always be elevated ✨️

trapped gate system

a system where individuals from other realities or timelines different from the system's body end up in that system.

for those resulting from a trapped gate, it is very difficult or, most commonly, outright impossible to leave. this is often because their body within their original reality/timeline is deceased, but this doesn't always have to be the case. they typically do not end up in their current systems of their own will, but are rather placed there by forces outside of conscious control.

this can be very similar to a locked gateway system [x], but differs in that there are typically no physical gates or portals innerworld (unless intentionally created), and it centers around parallel realities, rather than what one might consider a completely separate world.

a headmate that is not originally a part of their system's reality, but ended up there as a result of that system being a trapped gate system.

these headmates can have memories, vivid and detailed, of their individual lives, and may often feel confined by their consciousness' relocation to their current system. trapgateormic headmates tend to struggle greatly with being stuck in their system's current body, as they once had their own, free of the challenges that come with the system, form, and lifestyle they are now part of.

hi ! i was wondering if i could ask you about walk-ins ? we used to have some members who identified as such , but discourse & such scared us away .. but now we want to embrace the very community that led us to our syscovery in the first place. i was wondering what the term really means ? how your walk-ins describe their experiences , where they come from , etc ..

Hey, no worries--welcome back to the community! Sorry you dealt with a lot of discourse, it really is rough out there hah.

Walk-ins are, in short, headmates who show up in your brain fully formed. It's used in different communities in slightly different ways, but that's the basic rundown.

For gateway systems, and usually the broader plural community, it refers to a headmate that showed up from a different world. This is usually seen as a spiritual thing, but not always (though we don't have much info on the psychological side of things for walk-ins). They also tend to be fictives but aren't exclusively from fictional sources.

Our walk-ins usually follow this framework of thinking. Most of ours believe that the multiverse theory is real, and they died in their timeline, and then were reincarnated but ended up sharing a body here in our brain instead of getting "fully" reincarnated. Some of them don't think beyond that, others believe that sharing a body is an "inbetween" of being reincarnated and gives you extra time to heal from trauma and such that you remember from previous lives. Some of ours describe themselves as traumagenic walk-ins, aka they walked in like previously described, but they ended up here due to the body experiencing trauma for one reason or another and are here for a purpose. Others have different beliefs about the specifics of it, I'm sure most systems would have different ideas from each other, but you asked for our experience so we shared hah.

In tulpa communities, it's used to describe a tulpa that showed up with no or minimal effort put into creating them. We haven't been in tulpa-specific spaces for a while, but a lot of people saw walk-ins as either not actually tulpas and something else, or just something the brain does on accident while engaging in the tulpa community because you're hearing about it so much.

There's also the concept of singlet walk-ins, where usually it's described as a soul walking in and replacing the previous host entirely. We've met a few but it's not the common definition used in the plural community--in fact I think we've seen more otherkin use this definition for why they're nonhuman than we've seen around plural spaces.
