Enjoy the process 💓 so many people get wrapped up in competing and training and winning and forget to enjoy the process. It's easy to stress about big goals but at the end of the day, it's about enjoying your horse and enjoying what you do. ⭐️ I can genuinely say my horses are some of my best friends and will always make me feel better! I had a very special day at the KZN dressage awards luncheon picking up Bases Victor Laudaurum trophy 2016. So I thought I'd give everyone an update on Base! It's been a bit of a rough time for the boy as he had a horrible reaction to one of his Vaccinations and so had a few weeks off because of that, then he got a little virus which set him back again so he's had a break and his horse sickness and we have slowly brought him back into work. ❤️ The downside is we aren't ready for the team selection this weekend but KZN is lucky to have some incredibly strong combinations for the open team this year so I can't wait to cheer them on 👏🏼 #equestrians #eq #equestrian #walkingbase #blondieinbreeches
