#walkinginawinterbookland Day 8: Baby You Light Up My World- Books + Christmas Lights Ugh, sometime filters look so nice I have to mess up my feed. It hurts my heart when this happens. Anyway, B&N gets me every time with their Black Friday signed editions. I almost bought myself another signed copy of Tower of Dawn but thankfully I have some restraint. One author I can't resist that they've had the past couple years is Marissa Meyer. I love The Lunar Chronicles so much and while I still have yet to read Heartless and Renegades, I couldn't resist getting a signed copy of one of my favorite authors. #walkinginawinterbookland Day 3: Hot Chocolate- Book + Drink Another late post... Sorry! 😁 Don't have much to say about drinks but Piper was pretty interesting. I didn't know it was a graphic novel, so that was a surprise when I got it. It's an okay book in general. The art's pretty cute but I kind of would have liked more from the actual story but with a graphic novel you can't really get all the details sometimes. Have you read Piper? Thoughts? #walkinginawinterbookland Day 2: Gingerbread- Book + Favorite Holiday Food Sorry this is late, but I've been sick and unable to post. Anyway, I love all holiday foods but one of my top three is my grandma's cinnamon rolls. They are very cinnamony and goey and delicious. Didn't have them at the time of the photo since they were long gone before Thanksgiving ended and won't be seen again till Christmas Eve, I have this magazine that has cinnamon rolls that look like hers.
