Wall of Femmes, a feminist art collective from Montreal, brought some love to a wall in Parkdale, Toronto.
I'm remembering that ten years ago on International Women's Day, Toby and Keight and I made posters of our favorite feminist revolutionaries and glued them up on the down-low all around downtown Boston. It was late at night, I was a teenager still, it felt like the most exciting moment in the world. I think I did the Mariposa Sisters. Toby might have done Cattle Annie and Little Britches? There were cowboy hats involved. I can't remember what Keight did. I gotta find a scanner so I can share my pictures from that night.
