I don't remember what episode, but tary says that percy is exactly the kind of man he would one day like to marry, or something along those lines

"Also learning from Percival the kind of man I eventually want to marry" is a little more than strongly implied, I'd say.
i do agree that yeah, that pretty much confirms it, but still with queer love so much of it is still only addressed by their creators with a ‘wink wink nudge nudge’ when it’s addressed at all that it’s nice to have 100% confirmation. no take-baksies, it’s there, tary loved percy.
especially since the wording with the marriage thing is vague enough that you could probably excuse it if you tried hard enough. i’ve definitely known people and been like ‘hey, i would like having someone like this as a partner’ without being in love with them. like, the critical role wiki can’t wait to tell you about how they’re best friends and science bros and their great, platonic relationship but also, hey. listen. from the mouth of sam riegel himself. tary loved percy. romantically. it’s fuckin canon. i just think it’s nice to have verification that can’t be denied.
