Oh my gosh, y'all I'm such a...
Oh my gosh...
Oh my GOSH.
I'm so...
so...
silly.
So...
I love monsters & stuff. You should all know this by now, right?
Well sometimes I get irrational thoughts and I'm just flabbergasted at how SILLY I can really get.
I don't even know what led me down this current silly string of thought. I was just thinking about wampas (those abominable snowman looking things on Hoth - and their variants. I think they're cute. Of COURSE I think they're cute, I'm ME.). And... idk, I just had this random but strong urge to create a character who was raised by wampas rofl
And the way my brain travels faster than... my brain... (yeah, I'm so smart, you guys), I was already coming up with the details and backstory. Conveniently having already read "Of Possible Futures: The Tale of Zuckuss and 4-LOM" - or as I like to call it, The Tale of Toryn Farr, The Most AWESOME Member of Echo Base!!!! - sometime last year, my gears started spinning about this character being the child of one of the people selected to be sent back to Hoth on escape pods during that whole fiasco, and the child being the baby of one of those people, and being somehow lost in a snowstorm, and found by a wampa.
But then logic interceded and I felt... very dumb and very silly and very embarrassed even though there was no one around (and yet here I am, embarrassing myself for all of you... I really hope y'all appreciate what I do for you LOL).
Reasonable part of brain: I know you love your girl raised by chocobos, but this is different. The wampa would just eat the baby. Part of brain that really loves this idea: YEAH I KNOW, but... I can think of some reason... Reason: There's no way around it. Wampas aren't sapient, they're animals. Carnivorous animals. They see easy meat, they're hungry, they eat it. They see easy meat, they're not hungry, they drag it back to cave and save for later. By slobbering on it and sticking it on the ceiling. The baby would die frozen to the ceiling. Or be eaten.
Love: YEAH I KNOW! BUT! .................. Reason: I'm waiting. Love: .................. Reason: How do you propose the baby somehow survive and the wampa decide "yeah I'll pass on food, the thing I need to survive, I'd much rather look after this thing that will only make my life harder"? Love: ....IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII DON'T KNOW! BUT I DON'T CARE! I'M MAKING THIS CHARACTER AND SHE'S GONNA BE AWESOME. Reason: Then I'm gonna make you feel super silly. FEEL THE SHAME. BE PARALYZED BY THE WEIGHT OF YOUR OWN FOLLY. Love: 😭😭😭 It's... it's okay... at least I have HER... 😭😭😭
And all of this within a matter of seconds basically.
Oh my stars...
I can't be the only one like this. Y'all tell me your absurd character ideas. Or just tell me if you like my ridiculous irrational wampa girl idea. And I'll post more about her when I have her more fleshed out.
