one more late night Agatha All Along thought (can you tell I’m conjuring up fics?)

The way Agatha told Nicky “I cannot protect you from what is coming,” while desperately trying to gain as much power as she could in EFFORT to protect her boy, but ultimately being unable to in the end “your mother loves you so”

And then when Rio asks her why she lets people believe those awful things about her, Agatha responds with, “Because the truth is too terrible”

THE TRUTH BEING THAT SHE FEELS SOUL CRUSHING GUILT AS A MOTHER FOR BEING UNABLE TO PROTECT HER BEAUTIFUL BOY FROM HIS INEVITABLE FATE AND IN HER MIND SHE MIGHT AS WELL BE GUILTY TO EVERYONE TOO

I don't usually share super personal stuff like this, but an hour ago I found out one of my classmates took their own life. I’m sharing this because even though I only know most of you online, my inbox is always, always open if you need a friend, a hug, or just a place to vent. This is the second person I know who’s taken their life within the past 9 months. The suicide pandemic is killing our youth and generation. I know it feels dark, and sometimes it feels lonely- trust me, I know- but you are never, ever alone. Sending so much love to those who are struggling today, tomorrow, and always.
