Wandering Son has been such an emotional rollarcoster for me. I mean, I'm literally sobbing over a bunch a of twelve year olds. Then my girlfriend is telling me it's not the sad but fucking sHIT MAN T BARELY CRY OVER ANIME AND I AM DROWNING IN TEARS OVER THIS ONE. If you guys have a chance, i definitely recommend it. I've only seen the anime, but at this point I believe I'm going to marathon the manga. ;u;

I just went to a Cory Chisel and the Wandering Sons concert last night with my family and I just kfhewuhfiuwehf I FUCKING LOVE THEM. They're from my city so we have some of their older CDs that were only released here, but if you like americana/indie check out their new CD 'Old Believers.' 

This is one of my top songs (for more than the reason that it's my name). Other good ones to check out are Tennessee, See it My Way, and my fav that is old and no one knows is Pale Blue dress. Sorry I just...really like them kjefheuifhwe They have 4 of the CDs on iTunes =3=

Not like I've listened to the older CDs like 100 each or anything, though it has been over 5 years.

"Born Again"

Corey Chisel And The Wandering Sons released the new album, Old Believers, recently and will be touring this summer.  They make a stop at the Paradise Rock Club this Saturday July 14th. Tickets here.

The band will also perform on David Letterman tonight.   Old Believers is the follow up to Chisel’s critically acclaimed 2009 major label debut Death Won’t Send A Letter. On the heels of Death, Chisel toured the world extensively including stops at Glastonbury, Bonnaroo, Carnegie Hall and Newport Folk Festival. He was named one of Rolling Stone’s “Best New Artists” of 2009 and found  radio success with the single “Born Again,” a song he co-penned with Benson.    Cory Chisel And The Wandering Sons will be out on tour throughout the fall in support of the new album including an extensive tour with Alt-Country rock band Murder By Death and a thorough run of the Western United States with Norah Jones. Chisel will perform at festivals and record release shows to be announced in the coming weeks. They are also slated to appear on Late Night with David Letterman on July 10th.
