I haven't seen this movie, but let me tell you why it looks like it might be bad.

I hate the whole "your favorite celebrities are awful because they don't conform 100% to your standards of decency 100% of the time" viewpoint I've been seeing around recently. So what if someone says something that can be interpreted in a bad light? They're allowed to have opinions, and they can still be appreciated for their talent instead of some minor flaws we perceive from them.

Why the hell are the people that are being put up for merit scholarships all already from rich families? Like, do they really need more money to pay for their education? Or would that just take too much money out of their parents lakehouse funds?

I hate it when people say "It's not a kid's show, look at all the dark topics it covers" (this is usually said with either Adventure Time or Gravity Falls) which really bothers me because saying that implies that children can't comprehend mature themes or complex issues and that all children's programming has to be dumped down and immature.
