Live and Die

Like Mathias feared, a war had begun. He was scared to say the least, unsure of what to even do. The faes had broken through some portal and were starting to attack. The necromancer never thought he’d fight in a battle, thinking that all those wars were long over now that vampires ruled the world. Unfortunately, fate had other ideas. 

The first thing Mathias did was find Heinrich and Seth. He was worried sick and scared that both of them would get hurt or killed. Thankfully both of them were easy to find, but they were both on the front lines. Mathias sat back and observed everything, and during that he realized that he wanted to help. Seth had been allowed to go off and help, but when Mathias tried to follow he was stopped by his master. The necromancer frowned, “I wanna fight though...Why do I have to stay here?”

Goth Boys

Mathias really wanted to stick by Seth during these battles. He had grown closer to the other witch, seeing him as an older and wiser brother. Where he went, Matty wanted to follow. Of course, Heinrich had said no at first, but he eventually let Mathias do what he wanted. He had found Seth after running around the castle, using his magic to defend himself and gather a small group of undead to keep him safe. 

He moved over to Seth and waved at him, a little out of breath from running, “H-Hey, I found you! Are you alright?”

Fighting Dirty

Mathias was hesitant to fight any of his friends during this war. He didn’t want to hurt any of them, nor did he want to get hurt himself. It was hard though, he was trying to protect the vampires, even though many believed they didn’t deserve it. The necromancer just wanted peace though, and getting rid of the fae armies would give him that peace. 

Spotting Manny on the battlefield, fighting off vampires told him what side the jaguar sided on. Although, Mathias wasn’t mad, he stopped being mad a while ago. He ran up to the other slave, and smiled at him, “H-Hey Manny”. He was still friends with the other, and this wasn’t going to change that. Perhaps Mathias could convince him to switch sides, just so he could avoid any trouble if the fae lost.
