Gwalchavad- Primarch of the Wardens of Light (alt heresy). You might remember seeing this before. I removed this piece for a shorter while. The way I paint means that I usually put a temp-background in my paintings, something that inspires and gives me ideas, or something to use as a baseplate to paint from. This is usually not an issue, as I paint over everything, but this time, for various reasons, I was not fully with it, and began painting in snowflakes and effects around the background and forgot to paint in the Dark Eldar construction that I had intended. What this meant was, not only was the painting not done when I uploaded it, someone elses piece of art/photography was in the background of my art. This is never okay, and I do not condone, nor accept, that from anyone, least of all myself. I have now updated the piece with the Dark Eldar City in the background that I always intended. The backplate I originally had served as a composition guide and a colour guide, so if you saw this briefly last time, perhaps it doesn't look different, but I decided to paint the entire background from scratch, so there is nothing left of it. I took inspiration of some elements, but painted it all over. Thank you to Christopher Cant, and one of his fans, who noted this faux-pas.
