She can’t resist nudging her knuckles into her lover’s shoulder as she looked up at him with a grin plastered on her face, “go on ; say it.” Ariella was thrilled. She knew that Ash hated being bested. Usually it was between Puck and Ash, but Ariella could also be very competitive! This time it was just Ariella and Ash out on a hunt – practising their glamour and seeing what they could get up to…

And, shew as more than certain that she was going to get one over on him, “I’m better than you – go on,” she blew cold air into the Winter Fey’s face with a cheeky grin, “‘you’re a better archer than me, Ari.’ Oh why thank you, Ash. I never knew that.”

The Winter child’s lips curved into a giant grin when she saw the Summer Fey waiting for her. Her fingers twitched in anticipation as she could have easily have bounced her way over to the great Robin Goodfellow. “Morning Puck!” Ariella settled in front of the redheaded Puck before extending her arms and closing her eyes as if expecting something.

“What did you bring me this time?” Ariella may have been presuming but it wasn’t the first, nor would it be the last, time that Puck had brought a creature from Summer that resided in one of his vacationing spots, for her to meet and cuddle into. The last time was a rabbit – so what could it be this time?

Puck:

Emerald eyes looked up at her from his spot on the floor. “I…Have no idea.” Really he didn’t. He had been trying to set them up for her but ended up like this instead. And here he had the thought of possibly using the spares in another forte. Waving a badger that was sniffing the lights away, Puck looked up at her with an innocent look. “Do you mind helping me?” Because he was almost certain he was stuck. 

Sylph couldn’t help a laugh, regardless of her concern for his safety. Wires and other technology were her true enemies, seeing as she had no idea how it worked nor what to do with it. So, while quickly working her way around Puck to get him out of the tangly mess, the nimble movements were thus made to make as little contact with the fairy lights as possible. She wasn’t afraid. Not exactly. It was more like.. annoyance at not knowing what it was to the detail. However, at having freed him from the decoration, the girl wrapped her arms around him instead, chuckling again. This time, he’d be stuck in her embrace. “Much better.”

Upon hearing of an upcoming ball at court earlier that morning, eagerness overtook Eleanor almost immediately. The first thing that came to mind was the dress she would wear to the event     she had a few options to try out already; the thoughts that followed, however, rested on Ash. While Eleanor did have friends at court, she wasn’t particularly close with any of them due to her lower status; Ash was the only one who didn’t seem to care much about it, and instead treated her the same way he did everyone. The maiden ended up growing attached to their friendship over the years, even though she still wasn’t certain that he felt the same way.

Regardless, he was definitely the first person she wanted to talk with about the ball. Which explained why Eleanor had been roaming through the castle in hopes to find him, in a search that was taking far longer than she first expected. When she finally saw him across the hallway, her face lit up immediately, happy to have finally run into him after such a tiring walk.

"Ash!” she called out to him, her voice loud enough to be heard from where he stood. Eleanor rushed over to his side, a wide grin on her face as she spoke with great excitement. “Did you hear about the ball??”

“I hear ya’.” Marianne grimaced at the snow; thankfully it wasn’t snowing hard, just puffy flakes that meandered lazily to the ground. At least, for the time being. Instinctively she folded her wings tightly to her back in an effort to keep the snow from landing on them, and sheathed her sword with a huff. “Guess that’s that for sparring today. Unless you want to find somewhere covered.”
