I have the same issue with this as I do the Carlzner one in that I keep remembering Oshie is probably gone, and then I get sad. Not a bad ship! I just have trouble getting super into it, mostly thanks to @bulletproofwhale‘s recent post where TJ is getting shafted for hugs from his linemates. JUST HUG TJ DAMMIT HE SCORED AND HE DESERVES LOVE. But his linemates are kinda married so he third wheels it a little, you know?

However, I could easily see Nicky and Oshie bonding over their kids and being Good Dads and you just know they both put on a bitchin’ teaparty with their little girls, complete with costumes and all that. And at some point, while sipping imaginary tea, Nicky looks up from under his enormous flowered hat at Oshie who’s wearing like three hot pink feather boas, and they smile in silent recognition. (Probably Karl Alzner is also there with his little girl. He is wearing a flower crown.)

I’m having a hard time coming up with a standout moment in my head for them. Were they both at the pumpkin patch together with their kids? I feel like they were. If not, uh, sub in Nicky’s 500th assist on Oshie’s goal against the Senators.

9. Players you hate on teams you like? 

Only one that really registers for me is Antoine Roussel on the Stars. It’d be one thing if he were a hothead that did some good shit but I don’t see him doing much good shit except for getting in trouble. At least Wilson gets shit done on the ice.

(There may be a player or two I dislike on the Pens, but I dare not say who for fear of retribution.)
