The Fate of Dubbed Anime
Due to the recent audio leaks, the court case, the false harassment charges and how Funimation is literally a shit company a literal part of me died. This goes further than the dubbed voice of Goku yelling out ‘F****T’ or the dubbed voice of Chi Chi making incest jokes; but the overall the company itself has been screwing over talented voice actors while other talented voice actors have conspired against those that don’t fit their agenda. Seriously this bothers me to the core so freaking much and it’s literally PERSONAL to me. Why is it personal: I love anime, I looked up to those voice actors, I have watched anime for years, I have been freaking BULLIED for watching anime yet still watched it despite being bullied for it, I made friends because of my love for anime; and to wake up one morning to see the evidence, to see the scandal, to see the betrayal from my favorite voice actors literally saddens me. Vic Mignogna deserves so much freaking justice; this is literally just as bad as that Brett Kavanaugh shit only in this case the guy is literally crying because his damn career is ruined and the girl (Monica Rial) is acting out and making excuses to keep her reputation up. So now I don’t know what to feel except that these voice actors are dead to me; as for Jamie Marchi I swear to God that she gets replaced in High School DxD season 5 for being the scum that she is. But at the end I hope Vic gets justice, I hope DBS continues without those shit actors and I hope Funimation either gets cleansed or shut down and placed in the same graveyard as 4Kids Entertainment.
