Tonight was rather sobering. Right outside the stadium, around 7, a motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a turning SUV. Most people were already inside, watching the game, but I had left my tickets at home and had to run back and get them while friends were tailgating. We got back to find the street taped off. The wreckage was horrific. Sand strewn on the street gave mute testament to blood spilled. Somberly, we crossed the blocked off street and commented to an officer that it looked very bad. His reply, "It was." Fast forward to just now when I learned that one of my cosplay friends has suddenly passed away. Although we only spent time together in North Carolina, we remained friends online and sometimes such friendships are lasting and supportive. My condolences and prayers go out to his family and friends, especially his mother. Rest easy, @yalegiffin #toosoon #livelife #watchoutformotorcycles #cosplayer
