Aug 9 - We hiked the 3-mile round trip Gorge Trail at Watkins Glen State Park in NY, in the Finger Lakes area. The Gorge Trail winds 1 1/2 miles around and under 19 waterfalls as it descends 400 feet down into the canyon. Quite spectacular! 'Course, what goes down, must come up, so it was 1 1/2 mile hike up hill to get out of the gorge - not for the faint of heart!
